Description:

1965 Chevrolet C-10

Up for auction is my 1965 C-10 shop truck. I bought this truck almost 10 years ago from the original owner. It was completely stock then and only had 38,000 original miles. It now only has just over 50,000 miles on it and I've changed almost everything on it except the patina. It now has a 350 cid motor in it with a T-5 borg warner 5 speed. It is a very good running and driving truck. I've driven it a lot of places. It has dropped spindles and springs all the way around with power disc brakes on the front. The transmission was freshened up and installed this past spring. The original differential has been replaced with an Auburn posi unit. Also, all wheels have been converted to 5 lug. It has radial tires with port-a-walls. As far as the motor goes, it's a 300hp 350 with an Edelbrock intake and carb. It also has rams horns manifolds with Flowmaster mufflers. The interior was redone less than a year ago with gold metalflake and new carpet. The heater and windshield wipers work as well. This truck just passed PA safety inspection in the fall so I would trust it for many more miles. There are only a few things I would recommend this truck needs. The pinion seal in the rear is leaking, and I would rebuild the wing windows because the rubber around them is dry rotted and leaks air when driving. Since the transmission is from the 1990's, it could use a speedometer drive that is compatible with a mechanical cable. This truck is a good solid hot rod all around. I don't have to sell it, but would like to move on to an older truck, so I guess it's time. I would consider a trade for a 30's - 40's Ford or Chevy truck. I also like 55-57 Chevy trucks. If you have any interest or need more pics just let me know. I would like a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end. Also I candeliver within reasonable distance of southeastern PA for a fee.Otherwise you must make arrangements for shipping. Or you could just drive it home to most anywhere. I have it for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
