1981 CAMARO Z28 5.7 AUTOMATIC T-TOP CALIFORNIA CAR RARE ORIGINAL RED/SILVER

This is a "California Car”Built at the Van Nuys Plant and Sold New at Val Strough Chevrolet in Oakland, CA. Fully Loaded with Many Options. Build Sheet, Window Sticker, Owner's Manual and Dealer Invoice Included. Car is in Very Close Unmolested Survivor Condition and Original.

Rare Red on Silver Color Combo with the 5.7 350 Engine and Turbo 350 Transmission. Has not been on the road since 1989 and been in inside storage ever since. I recently changed the oil, filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor and battery to get back on the road. Runs and drives nicely but could use a carburetor cleaning. Has the Optional N90 Aluminum Wheels with BFG Tires. Still has the Catalytic Converter and what appears to be the original exhaust. All Smog equipment with original tower clamps still present. Cruise Control and Power Windows.

Odometer just turned 104k miles and car shows like such... I have records of last registered in 1989 as well as receipts to back up the mileage. Body has small dings, chips and scratches throughout. Mostly original paint, has a blend job on the right rear quarter and door which has fading and clear coat deterioration. But the Body and Floors are Rust FREE! Trunk is like new!

Rare Silver Interior is all original down to the factory AM/FM Stereo Tape Player. Does have blemishes that would be typical of the miles and age of the car. Factory Glass T-Tops are in nice shape. Build Sheet was found under the carpet on passenger rear side. I just took some pictures of it and left in place. Has had Pioneer speakers installed at some point in the 80's. Original headliner material is starting to sag.

This is an excellent example of a super original 2nd generation Z28. Last year of this body style. Values on these continue to Rise in the Muscle Car market and finding one is this condition is getting few and far between. It can be driven as is or Restored as desired.
