1972 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

1972 Corvette T-Top Coupe in excellent condition. All matching numbers. Lovingly cared for and driven sparingly. Garaged and covered. Super tight- excellent driver quality. Older restoration which included respray in its original Targa Blue. Rebuilt engine, transmission and interior. Recent tires and exhaust. Brand new calipers, brake lines and shoes, master cylinder. Never modified. No evidence of ever being hit. Everything works except the clock. A/C car. manual steering and brakes. Rust free frame and birdcage. Vacuum is excellent- wiper door and headlights work fast and evenly. New ebrake shoes. Interior is excellent. Steering and suspension is new or rebuilt- tracks excellent. Door buzzer, factory alarm and seat belt buzzers all work. Courtesy lights-floor and luggage compartment all work. Very clean under carriage. Original radio works perfectly as does the climate controls. door locks and door handles work smoothly- no broken door springs or improper window regulators. Original spare tire and jack plus owner's manual. Needs only a new driver. The only draw-back to this car is the minor paint imperfections. The paint is very good to excellent but is starting to show its age in some places with micro spider webbing. From two feet or more away you don't notice it. Chrome and stainless are excellent. No leaks. No smoke. Recent carb rebuild. I have owned several C3 and C2 Corvettes in my life. I know what to look for. This car is solid as a rock. No creaks or rattles. Drives straight and true and performs flawlessly. Stock exhaustwith excellent exhaust note that the chevy engineers strived for. The Targa Blue jumps, especially at night- its tough not to get attention. And, I live in a town where everyone drives European cars. I get more attention in this car than my Ferrari. I live in Darien, birthplace of Brock Yates' Cannon ball run. People drive super exotics here, but I get all the attention in this Corvette. It is a standout. I find it kinda funny.Anyway, Get in, find what's left of Route 66 and drive across country with that one you love. I'm a 59 year old banker. Selling my stuff and probably going to move.
