This Nomad is a new body off restoration with less than 200 miles on the odometer since completion. This car is painted the original Matador Red and Dune Beige. Everything is new, polished, rebuilt or powder coated, including the frame. The drive train is a 350 small block with all the good parts. Steel crank, Keith Black pistons, 292 cam, camel hump heads match ported to a polished 1956 dual quad intake manifold. The twin Carbs are 650 CFM Edelbrock topped with stainless reproduction air cleaners from a 1956 Corvette. The ignition is MSD electronic. Exhaust system is Jet Hot coated block hugger headers with stainless Walker turbo mufflers. The rest of the drive train is rounded out with a fully rebuilt Muncie M-21, 4 speed with Center Force clutch, new throw out bearing and flywheel with a 3:55 geared rear end. It features power steering, power disc brakes, Griffin 4 core aluminum radiator with a custom fan shroud and vintage Cal Custom finned valve covers. The interior is also new and redone in the original style with added power windows; Flaming River tilt steering wheel and Vintage air conditioning. The car rides on a front air bag suspension system, polished American mags and Goodrich TA radials round out this very reliable, strong running show and go car.
