Up for sale is one beautiful 1971 Chevrolet Camaro with a 350 245hp V8 and Muncie manual 4 speed transmission. This car is all matching numbers, original born with engine, transmission and rear end (I can send you pictures of the VIN stamping's or you can come see it for yourself). The Camaro was a nice rust free survivor before a rotisserie restoration was done on it 12 years ago. The car is 100% rust free and all metal. This is a beautiful car with NO rust NO blisters and NO issues. Again this is a metal car and NOT a bondo bucket. The paint has a handful of stone chips and touch ups (mostly on the drivers door where there is about 4 touch ups) but nothing major. Its a straight car with nice gaps. The Camaro was bought brand new in 1971 by Nancy Claris out of Gossville NH right down the road from here and has remained in the Northeast ever since. It does come with the protecto-plate and warranty information from the dealer and also the original manuals. The Camaro has new front and rear bumpers, new door handles and rear window trim (all the original pieces can go with the car). It is equipped with power steering and manual disk brakes. Every thing on the car works as it should (blinkers, horn, headlights and so on). The underneath is as clean as the body, you could eat off it. Rock solid, original floors and there is no hack patch jobs or rust issues. The engine bay is very sanitary and presents extremely well. The trunk is also very clean and in excellent shape with a nice GM spatter. The glass is original to the car so the driver side and passenger side glass does have a few minor scratches but nothing major and its hard to see them. This car is an absolute beast. When you fire it up and drive it down the road, it sounds like Saturday night at the drags, it sounds MEAN! The matching numbers motor was rebuilt and is super healthy, fires right up, idles perfect, runs cool with great oil pressure. No smoke and no weird noises. AGAIN, SOUNDS AMAZING! The transmission was also rebuilt and has a great grabbing point and no slipping. This car is an absolute delight to drive! These second gen Camaros ride so incredible. This car goes down the road like its brand new off the showroom floor. The interior is in excellent shape, no issues, no rips and so on (there is a tiny 1/2 inch tear in the rear seat. Beautiful upholstery, clean carpet and nice headliner. No rips and no cracks. The seats are incredibly comfortable. The car has been gone through from front to back and needs nothing, it is 100% ready to go to a new home and enjoyed. This car runs and drives beautiful and again, its an absolute blast to drive. It floats down the road so nice. Super tight car, goes straight down the road, no rattles or shimmy's and it will brake straight without pulling side to side. No vibrations just a crazy fast and powerful car. The car has its born with 10 bolt open rear end with highway friendly gears. The BF Goodrich radial TAs are like new with plenty of meat on them.
