Ex Consolidated Freightways delivery truck.
Very solid and original truck. These LCF and COE trucks are gaining in popularity and becoming difficult to find. Here is a low production 1960 model year truck prime for a restoration or custom truck build.
Heavy duty, six cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission, mechanical condition unknown. Previous owner told me that he drove the truck to where it was previously parked. It has not ran in at least 8 years. I have not tried to get the truck running.
For the new 1960 model, Chevrolet introduced the independent front suspension system for these heavy duty trucks. This highly improved ride quality made these trucks very popular.
The truck is very solid and complete. All sheet metal and body panels are straight with only a few minor dents and no rust issues. Virtually rust free. Great patina in the original CF colorsfor a rat rodor "rustrod" build.
The interior is as expected for a 57 year old commercial vehicle. The seat needs upholstery and a general cleaning but the dash is intact. It has not been butchered or altered and all the gauges are present. All glass is present though the front windshield will need replaced.
The truck is 24' long overall, 8' wide and 7 1/2' tall. The flatbed is 16' long.
The truck rolls and steers easily.
The 8.25x20 tires hold air.
Sold with a good title.

Truck can be stored on site for up to 30 days. Storage fees of $15 per day will be applied after 30 days from the end of the auction.
