1972 Chevrolet C-10 Super Cheyenne
Up for auction is a bad ass 1972 Super Cheyenne Short Bed, know as Black Betty. This is a very nicely built truck with no expense spared. This is a complete frame off nut and bolt build, using the best of the best components. This c10 has been featured by Truckin Magazine and On The Ground Designs.It runs, drives, rides, sounds, and performs awesome! It is dialed in and ready to be driven. It cruises interstate speeds with ease. It steers nice and tight. It rides smooth and handles great.The paint is super slick! Its nice and straight down the sides. Nice panel fitment, the door open and close great. This is a very solid truck! Original rockers, floors, and sheet metal.The truck has a very nicely built chassis.It has a complete Porterbuilt Extreme level 3 setup front and rear. Rack and pinion steering, subular control arms, CPP drop spindles and disc brake setup. The entire chassis and all suspension and steering components have been powdercoated satin black. It has QA1 adjustable shocks.The truck has an Accuar E level air management setup. It has 3 preset ride heights which can be selected from the controller. The bags are Slam Specialties.Under the hood you will find a very nicely detailed engine compartment. The firewall is shaved smooth and painted satin black. It has a set of Slosh Tubs and Porterbuilt hood hinges.The motor is a nicely built small block Chevy 350. It has double hump heads, a Corvette cam, HEI ignition system. Its nicely dressed with an aluminum intake, scripted valve covers, and a black Edelbrock carb. The block and all parts were smoothed out and painted with base clear and are super slick. A satin black billet serpentine setup drives the motor. It breaths through a set of ramhorn manifolds and a full dual exhaust setup with flowmaster mufflers. The truck sounds awesome. All hoses, AC lines, and wiring were routed out of sight.The trans is a Bow Tie Overdrives 700-R4 Stage II. it shifts nice and firm. It has a Driveline Specialties driveshaft.The rear end is a GM 12 bolt with an Eaton 3:73 posi unit.The bed floor is stunning! it cam from BedWood and was very nicely finished.It has polished stainless strips with hidden fasteners.
All of the brightwork is new, bumpers, trim, door handles, grill, etc.
The interior is all new as well and looks great. All interior metal parts were shot in satin red. New seat, carpet, door panels, floor mats, dash trim, etc. It has a gen 5 Vintage Air setup. New glass and seals. The cab is Dynomatted. A Pioneer stereo and Pioneer speakers where added and sound nice.
The wheels are22x8 and 22x10 U.S. Mags 2 piece billets wrapped in Nitto 420 tires.
This is a high end build, that has had the kinks worked out and is ready to be enjoyed. It has had very few miles since completed and everything looks fresh. It runs and drives very well. Lots of time and money invested.
