Very very nice truck. I bought and built this truck for my Grandson who is turning 16 this year. It was to be asurprise. The surprise came when his Mother said it was too old and she wanted something newer.Okay, they can buy him whatever she likes and I'm selling only because I don't need it. I can and will keep it if I can'tget my money back. Maybe she's right. It is an older vehicle without air bags and all the other goodies that are supposed to keep you safe.It does have new seat belts. It is or was a 51 year old truck now it is new.......ish. It is a great originally black vintage truck and has been completely restored and is a very good safe dependable in every way.Everything works like new. Power steering, power disc brakes, new tires and American Racing wheels,complete new interior,all new paint, new bumpers,new grille, new bed wood kit, new 350 turbo transmission, ( it has a small stall converter because of thecam and a/c requiring a little higher idle rpm)new 72 350 engine with a little hotter cam(300hp) and new 3973487 2.02 1.60 heads.Also anew1970 442 12 bolt rear axle with 3:23 gear, new a/c, new aluminum 4 core radiator,new mini starter, new alt, new water pump,and on and on. Wheel bolt pattern is now 5 on 4 3/4. It was not a rusty junker when I started but both rear wheel tubs, both front fenders, both rockers,both cab corners, and all cab mountshave been replaced. I don't like patch panels or partial fixes and it is now absolutely rust free. Everything works. All lights and signals, horn, wipers, dash lights, interior lights, heater, a/c, even theold AM radio although the volume control has staticwhen adjusting. Also the chrome and stainless is very good except theupper on the rightbed sidehas some dents.
Please ask any questions you may have and I will answer ASAP. Come inspect in person or have a third party do so.If you can't or choose not to I stand by my description and can tell you this is absolutely a great truck and is everything I've said.
I am retired now but not new to restoring great autos as my trader name suggests. I have been doing this for over 30 years and can't seem to quit.
