IF YOU ARE SERIOUSLY INTERESTED IN THIS '56, THIS IS THE LAST TIME THIS CAR WILL BE LISTED ON EBAY BECAUSE IT'S MY LAST "FREE" LISTING WITH EBAY. MAKE YOUR REALISTIC OFFER NOW.
For sale a very nice '56 Chevy 210 Delray. New GM 350 crate motor with about 3K miles on it. Runs great!! 2 year old rebuilt saginaw 4 speed with hurst shifter that sometimes has an issue going into 1st. It doesn't stop me from driving the car and feel it should be mentioned. But I will include a newly purchased professionally rebuilt Muncie M20 and a new Hurst bench shifter and linkage, still in the boxes (see last photo) that I have plans of installing at some point. Original rear has a '59 posi unit with 3.36 gears. Car runs real nice, I drive it as much as the weather permits. A lot of mechanical replacement has been done on the car including new aluminum radiator and heater core. New 15" Cragars with new BF goodrich T/A radials. Disc brakes up front with 2" drop spindles gives it a nice stance. Still more but too much to list. All new exterior chrome (bumpers, grille, emblems, etc.). Original interior that for the most part is in good condition considering it's age. Body has an old repaint with some nice old school pin stripping and now has a nice "aged" driver look to it and still is very presentable at shows and cruises. Exterior of the body is solid with no rot or rust. 96% of the chassis is solid, just some rot to two floor braces on the driver's side and some rot on inner rockers in spots (see next to last 3 photos: P-passenger, D-driver). Passenger floor may need some attention as well. None of this affects the outward appearance nor the structural integrity of the car. None of this is getting worse either as the car is garaged and only driven in dry weather. Driver's side window has cracks near upper right corner. All that said, still a very nice '56 and it will be driven to a new home.
I recommend for those eBayers not local that you have someone inspect the car first, for you, because there is no warranty on the car and it is sold as is. DON'T BUY SIGHT UNSEEN!!!! It is also your responsibility to arrange for and pay for transportation of the car to your locale. If you are local, do make arrangements to SEE THE CAR FIRST before purchase.
The Paypal Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and must be made immediately with Buy It Now. Therefore, it goes without saying, make sure you have ALL THE MONEY needed before BUYING this car. Cash or Wire Transfer of remaining balance to be completed within 7 days. Pickup or transportation of the vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer including any expenses incurred. Anyone with less than 5 feedback must contact me first.
RI is a non-title state for cars this old. Make sure this is not an issue with your state (contact your DMV). I will provide ONLY the following: a Bill of Sale, Current Registration and Official Letter from the RIDMV stating this is a non title state for old cars. Even if I wanted to, I could not get a title for this vehicle in RI, so do not ask that I try.
Any questions or concerns, you can call me 7744884810 between 9am-6pm EST. Car is also listed locally on Craig's so this listing could end at any time.
