Description:

1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Closed our car business in 2013 and registered this to myself. I believe it is a worked 350 with a ca, headers, 4spd transmission, competition clutch. If this is an original 4spd then very rare car. If not- still a very nice conversion. We had taken this in trade years before and decided to keep it. We had replaced the servos in trans back in 201, a new Hurst competition/plus shifter and linkage rods as well as an Autometer Tach. It had an older restoration probably 10-15 years ago. Interior is nice. It was and probably still is a strong fast muscle car.
Put in old tobacco barn for temporary storage at end of 2013 with other vehicles. Barn not in great condition. Trees growing thru side . Did not expect to leave them in this barn very long. Well my poor health left them until now and in 2015 after an ice storm part of roof gone and whole building leaned. Just dragged the vehicles out in 2017 demolished that barn and placed in new structure.
There is Hackleberry tree sap all over top of vehicle. No body damage except surface rust to areas of hood and paint bubbling where roof meets rear quarters and hood. See pictures. This damage was not evident prior to barn storage. Nice undercarriage. Battery is set up in trunk.
The starter is now bad and a new one is in place but needs to be shimmed. Header is in way and I just cannot work on the car especially without a lift . Vehicle will have to be towed from my property. Is not running at this time. You are welcome to preview this vehicle- text your number to 615 585 3057 with 1970 Monte Carlo and I will call back. Also had a 1973 Lincoln Mark IV, 1980 Jeep CJ7, 2001 Ram 2500 and 1989 Corvette in that barn and will probably be listed within the week.
