1965 GMC K1500 3/4 ton 4X4 pickup

1965 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500

Up for your consideration is my 1965 GMC K-15 3/4 ton four-wheel-drive long bed pick up. this is a California vehicle so it is 98% rust free . You would be hard-pressed to find one in this condition for being 52 years old it does have some rust in the usual spots which I have repaired with patch panels and still need two more patch panels to complete. I have repaired the passenger side door bottom and passenger side front fender bottom .The driver side has very minimal rust at the bottom of the door and the bottom of the front fender so I was debating on repairing those or not .The floors under the carpet or pristine no rust . The interior as you can see has been completely redone seat reupholstered new carpet shoulder seatbelts added a new gauge cluster .B&M shifter.and an electric step on the driver side. The gas tank has been relocated under the bed with the filler neck exiting the back fender very well done . The trucks suspension is all original with Warren locking hubs added power steering added and front power disc brakes added with rear drum brakes . The engine compartment has been cleaned sanded and sprayed .The engine is a 383 stroker motor I was told I know it does have power pack heads and runs very well and sounds great. And has hooker headers. The transmission is a TH 350 turbo trans rebuilt . The truck starts right up runs and drives very good. I found a very good condition bed for the truck and a very good condition tailgate . The bed bottom where the wood goes needs to be replaced right now I just have plywood there .The truck is currently on non-op status with the DMV it has a clear and clean title .I have recently became permanently disabled so I am not able to complete this project my starting price is what I have invested in the truck. With very minimal body work and paint this would be a beautiful truck for someone .Its breaking my heart to sell it.
