Up for sale is our beloved Chevy Suburban, selling as unfortunately our holiday is over! The vehicle is in great condition, runs very well and has below average fuel consumption, both on the open road and in cities with an automatic transmission. It has a brand new battery and we just had some work done in the steering (hub assembly replaced). The tires are in good condition. Seats 9 people with plenty of space for 2 people to sleep if you turn the rear seat around... it's the ideal vehicle for road trips and camping with roof racks for extra gear. Also has working A/C, successfully tested in the desert in the middle of summer!
It also has a new engine with less than 100,000 miles, though the odometer is over 300,000 miles now. (The odometer milage was never reset when the the new engine was put in.)
The car is approved to be plated in Washington state but doesn't currently have a plate. New buyer will need to buy a plate. The vehicle didn't pass emissions but we paid a fee to get it waived and eligible to be plated. Basically it burns some oil and idle emissions are a little too high, so they recommended some tuning or replacement of the EGR valve. It can be plated, however. I checked with the DMV and it will cost the new owner $303.70 to obtain a Washington plate and transferred title.
