1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

The 1955 Chevrolet 210 coupe is iconic not only for its styling, but also for being part of the Tri-Five family that launched the legendary small block V8. So when you can find a recently restored example that retains the iconic touches on the outside, but beneath the skin it carries upgrades like the suspension, A/C interior, and a fuel-injected V8 heart, then you know you've found the perfect restomod.
This coupe grabs all the right attention. The two-tone yellow and white follow the original Chevy color palette, but it now takes advantage of modern clearcoat shine. And the investment in this one went far more than just great paint. The 210 model has acres of chrome and stainless trim, and thankfully all is present on this coupe. It includes the extra wide grille that looks like a V8 smile; the hood ornament that signified the jet age; and the intricate side trim that provides a clean dividing line for the two-tone. And of course, we all love the wraparound chrome bumpers. That's why there was a solid investment in a new pair so the ladies can check their makeup in these mirror-like chrome kings. These are reasons why we all love the icon, but this coupe still has even more to offer. Those Boyd Coddington alloys are staggered 17/18-inched front/rear to fill the wheel wells with intimidation. They're a clear indication this classy classic has some performance chops.
This slick custom has shaved door handles, so once you pop the remote openers, it's pretty darn hard not to get excited about this interior. The gray bench seat is clean presentation with the kind of stitching that could never come from the factory. This great custom color scheme is even repeated on the doors, headliner, and carpeting. The dash looks bold painted in the exterior-matching yellow, and its dual cowl style looks inspired by the Corvette. There's all the right comfort features like power windows, a Flaming River tilt column, and ice-cold R134a air conditioning. But this coupe is no coddler. When you grab the chrome flame steering wheel, and see the Dakota Digital gauges glowing blue, it tells your senses there's something special under the hood even before you twist the key and hear it roar.
The engine bay could win awards all on its own. There was a ton invested in just getting the walls so slick. Plus, we dare you to find another component that can be polished. But more than just look terrific, this V8 is ready to put down some serious power. The original Tri-Fives were the beginning of the legend, and the GM RamJet 350 engine you have here is one of the most modern version around so you've got the best of both worlds! The fuel-injected crate motor is rated at over 350 horsepower right out of the box. Plus, you have all the best supporting features, such as a March serpentine drive pulley system, Walbro electric fuel pump, high output alternator, and aluminum radiator w/electric fan. This total power package exhales through Patriot headers that feed the thunderous Pypes X-pipe dual exhaust. So if the bright yellow paint doesn't grab their attention, the rumble this restomod makes will! And more than just a great modern motor, a true restomod mush be improved for driving, too. That's why the three-speed automatic transmission was fortified for extra power, and now it feeds a stout Currie rear end. Plus, there's power steering, a thick sway bar up front, an upgraded rear suspension, all frame mounts have been replaced, and you've even been upgraded to four-wheel disc brakes. This makes for a total package icon that feels solid on the road and handles like a true sports machine. There is even a power gas door opener (see video)!
This unique restomod comes with the build receipts so you can go through the full list of upgrades. It's the kind of Chevy that you've always wanted, and if you're quick enough, your reward is ready. Call today!!!
