Hello,
I am selling my 1956 Chevrolet 3100 4x4 Pick Up.
Exterior/Interior:
The paint is in very nice shape, you sure get a lot of attention in it when people see a giant bright blue truck rolling down the street! The truck is sitting on 32x11.5x15 Goodyear wranglers. The bed is like new, no dents on the inside walls of the bed either like most of these trucks do. This is a short bed, step side truck as you can see from the pictures. The truck is rust free since it came from Texas a few years ago. The underside is nice and clean and looks almost brand new. The interior is in very nice shape, I just had the bench seat reupholstered. The entire cabin of the truck was painted to match the exterior of the truck as well. All the the lights, blinkers, wipers, work as they should. The rear window is able to slide open which lets in a nice breeze as you are cruising down the road.
Mechanical:
The truck runs and drives awesome and has been VERY reliable for me. Usually with these old cars, you worry about whether or no you will make it back, I have never thought that once when taking this thing out. The truck is equipped with a 350 Chevy Motor, mated to a 350 Automatic Transmission. The motor was rebuilt when the truck was restored. Right before the start of summer of this year, I had the motor gone through by local shop, replacing various gaskets, plugs, fluids, wires, etc. I have the receiptsfor that totaling close to $1500. The truck has, power steering, power brakes, and disc brakes. I have never owned a classic car with brakes as strong as the ones on this truck, it will literally stop on a dime. The 4x4 on the truck works great, I have never taken it off-road since it is too nice of a truck to do that. LOL
As you probably know, finding a clean 4x4 3100 in this body style is very difficult. If you do find one, prices will be through the roof. These truck are getting more and more scarce and will only increase in value as the years progress. I have my eye set on something else already so please, no trades.
