1964 Chevrolet Impala SS
This is a numbers matching car with all original equipment. This 409 is a 340 hp version and sports the Muncie M20 4- speed transmission. Both engine and transmission recently rebuilt, within 250 miles. Differential also rebuilt with new seals and gaskets. New clutch. No fluid leaks! This car is sound and dependable.
The odometer shows 53K+ miles and has not been turned over according to the previous seller. Black interior that is near perfect. The carpet shows some wear and the original radio powers up but doesn't play. The tach works great but the speedo bounces around some. An aftermarket hood lock has been installed for security but may be removed easily. This car was rebuilt in 1990 and a photo album documenting that rebuild and folder with receipts is included with the car.
The down side of the car is the paint. The paint job is poor but serviceable but will need a repaint to be a number 2 car. It will need a little body work, particularly on the right rear fender where some rust is popping through the paint. The body around the windows is rust free as is the undercarriage.
Tires are B.F.Goodrich Silvertown and are a bit better than rollers. New tires will be necessary for highway driving.
