The original owner wrote everything down on a little note pad with every oil change and work done from the first change at 15 miles to 64,013 miles (granted, it is not the original block anymore, just super cool to have). I have tons of receipts dating back to when the car was new and a list of each owner. I have several old registrations dating back to the 70s and 80s. Car was bought new on 4/19/62 in Bedford Indiana and moved to Seattle in the summer of '73. Changed a few hands until I bought it about 4 years ago.
Previous owner owned a paint and body shop. Took 164.5 hours to strip and repaint the car. I have the hour sheet from the restoration shop. I have some photos of the progress from stripping it to bare metal to color (also included in the sale). This was done sometime around January and February of 95 or 96. It still looks super nice! A couple bubbles about the size of a dime are starting to show and some on the seams on the sides of the rear window but those are not thru. Everyone that I point them out to tell me it's hardly even noticeable. I am OCD when it comes to my cars, so every imperfection stands out to me. Floor board is not rusty nor is the trunk area. It's a VERY solid car. Had this on Kent Sullivan's lift a couple years ago and got lots of "nice car" comments.
I only put ethanol free super unleaded in the car as well. I've put less than 1500 miles on the car since everything listed new has been rebuilt or installed. Car could use new seat covers and door panels. I was going to order an interior kit from Clarks but have other interests I would rather stick that money into. Has an aftermarket radio in it with Bluetooth that is mounted in the factory radio location (had it cut out), but have an original bezel that is not cut up if you'd like to put a factory style 2 knob back in it. The windshield has a mark from the drivers' side wiper blade, it may be buffable but I want to mention it. Anytime I take the car out it get lots of attention. It shows very nicely as is, I just want to mention everything I am aware of. I only have one key for it, but everything including the glove box is keyed the same. Car has Washington State 62 collector plates on it as well. I barely drive this car, maybe 3 times a year. Would rather it go to someone that appreciates it and drives it more often. If I can answer any questions or you are interested in seeing it please feel free to contact me. I am in the Arlington WA area if you want to come look at it. I'd rather not drive it in the rain, so please keep that in mind.- Condition: Used
