1970 SS 454 Chevy El Camino, Built to be driven. Not a frame off Restoration Trailer Queen. If that's what you'r looking for lease keep looking. This is a great looking El Camino that was built to be driven. Car has a Non Original 454, TH 400 tranny and a 12 bolt rear end. The 454 was just freshened up with new- rings, all bearings, oil pump, timing chain set, rough idle muscle car cam and lifers, freeze plugs, water pump, fuel pump,power steering hoses,spark plugs,wires and hoses. The TH 400 tranny was overhauled about 1000 miles ago. The 12 Bolt rear end has had it's oil changed and was inspected while the cover was off and it has 2.73 Gears in it. The floor pan's are all in good shape with the exception of the floor under the front of the bed. It was patched with some sheet metal. The brakes have all been replaced, new-power brake unit, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, calipers, flex hoses, shoes and pads. Inside there is bucket seats, console, floor shifter, super sport dash with a some time working tachometer, amp meter, speedometer, water temperature and fuel gauges with a new printed circuit board/installed. There has also been new sending units for the water temperature and the fuel gauge and the oil pressure light. A/C work's good, nice and cold. There is also new carpeting and head liner. The dash pad has a crack on the driver's side. The AM radio isn't working, neither is the windshield wipers. Interior light comes on when the door's are open and shuts off when closed. Horn beeps when the button is pushed on the wheel. Cigarette lighter works, even the buzzer that let's you know that the keys are in the ignitionworks. All the lights are working even the back up lights. The car was painted about a year ago. Still looks great. Lots of shine. The door locks work with the ignition key as they should. tailgate opens and closes as it should. All the emblems have been replaced with new ones. The door gaskets where also replaced with new ones. You know your getting old when you say that the exhaust is loud. It has flow master mufflers on it and I think it's a little loud.
