THIS AUCTION IS FOR A RESTORED 1967 IMPALA SS. I BELIEVE THIS CAR TO BE ANORIGINAL L36 385 H.P. 427, Z-24SS IMPALA. I DO NOT GUARANTEE ITS AUTHENTICITY! I'LL LET YOU DO THE RESEARCH AND DECIDE FOR YOURSELF. TO SIMPLIFY THIS I WILL DETAIL ALL NUMBERS AND BUILD TAG ON THE CAR. SO PLEASE READ THIS AD IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS. BEFORE I DO THIS LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE CAR.

I RECENTLY ACQUIRED THIS CAR IN A TWO CAR DEAL FROM THE OWNER. I HAVE DECIDED TO KEEP THE OTHER 67 IMPALA SIMPLY BECAUSE IT IS NOT AN SS AND I HAVE PLANS TO UPDATE THE DRIVETRAIN AND SUSPENSION TO MY LIKING. THE CAR LISTED IS SIMPLY TO NICE AND RARE TO MODIFY IN ANY WAY.

I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS CAR TO BE A BODY OFF RESTORATION. THE UNDERSIDE OF THE CAR IS CLEAN AND RUST FREE. THE PAINT AND BODY ON THE CAR IS NICER THAN DRIVER QUALITY. THERE ARE NO BLISTERS OR BUBBLES OR RUST OF ANY TYPE.IT WOULD SHOW WELL AT ANY CAR SHOW. THE TRIM AND CHROME ON THE CAR IS EXCELLENT WITH MUCH OF IT BEING REPLACED WITH N.O.S PARTS OR RESTORED ORIGINAL. THE GLASS IN THE CAR HAS ALL BEEN REPLACED.

THE INTERIOR IN THE CAR IS EXCEPTIONAL. EVERY ASPECT OF THE INTERIOR IS MINT FROM THE CARPETS TO THE HEADLINER. THE DASH, GAUGES AND CONSOLE ARE ALL IN MINT CONDITION. ALL GAUGES, TURN SIGNALS, HORN, RADIO AND FM CONVERTER FUCTION PROPERLY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE SPEEDOMETER. I HAVE A NEW CABLE ORDERED. THE EXISTING ONE GOT UP AGAINST THE HEADER AND MELTED THE CASING.

THE DRIVETRAIN NOW CONSISTS OF A ZZ454 GM CRATE MOTOR, MUNCIE 4SPD, AND A 12 BOLT POSI REAR WITH 3.55 GEARS. I BELIEVE THE TRANSMISSION AND REAR END ARE ORIGINAL TO THE CAR. I DO NOT GUARANTEE THIS! WHAT I DO GUARANTEE IS THAT THE RUNS AWESOME AND PULLS LIKE FREIGHT TRAIN! THE CAR DOES HAVE MANUEL BRAKES AND STEERING!

IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE ZZ454 IT IS AN ALUMINUM HEAD 454 MOTOR FROM GM WHICH PRODUCES 440 H.P. AT 5250 RPM'S AND 500 LB.-FT AT 3250 RPM'S AND RETAILS FOR NEAR $7,500 ALONE.
