THIS 1972 SUBURBAN HAS JUST ABOUT EVERY OPTION, INCLUDING THE RARE ONE YEAR ONLY HIGHLANDER (PLAID INTERIOR) TRIM, FRONT AND REAR AC, TILT WHEEL AND 402 BIG BLOCK!

This Suburban is in great condition considering its age. The floors, rockers, rain gutter and other common problem areas for these trucks are rock solid. It does have some rust in the lower quarters that could be easily repaired. I have a ton of receipts for recent work including a completely rebuilt motor that has less than 2500 miles on it. Great daily driver, or restoration candidate.

MECHANICAL:

Mechanically truck is tiptop. It has recently had a lot of mechanical work completed at a cost of over $7500 (see receipts)! The motor was recently rebuilt within about 2000 miles. The carburetor was also rebuilt and the battery and starter were also replaced. New suspension was just installed for both front and rear (springs and shocks), which is a CPP 3" static lowering kit. This Suburban starts, runs, drives and stops excellent. The AC works, but will require a recharge.

COSMETICS:

This truck looks incredible with the custom deluxe trim molding and the very rare olive green plaid highlander interior.It had the black body molding that went along the bottom of the truck that was removed at one time. The seats are clean and in decent shape. They could be recovered if you wanted to bring it back to 100%. The rear cargo is in great shape and the wood is rock solid. It has been lowered 3" front and rear and it is sporting a newer set of whitewall tires on the factory steel wheels.

It is shocking how rock solid the truck is for being almost 50 years old.The chalk marks are still bright and present in the engine compartment. All of the typical problem areas are rock solid on this truck, like the rockers, doors, drip rails, etc. The only areas that need some attention are the lower fender/quarters, which can be replaced with some patch panels.
