1965 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Coupe 327ci/300hp | 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Coupe Complete Numbers Matching 327- 300 Horsepower/PowerGlide Automatic ,521 Miles Power Windows • Power Steering • AM/FM Radio Fully Original - Super Low Miles 24,521* Always Serviced Miles *This Corvette is an exceptional Very Original Complete Numbers Matching car. Finding a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe this nice...that you'll be willing to drive...almost as rare as the combination this car offers. In 1965 Chevrolet only produced 1275 Goldwood Yellow Corvettes, with a 1/3 ratio of coupes being built, we might concur that less than 425 may have been built. Aside from the black coupes, this would make this the second rarest color for the coupes. Finding a coupe that hasn't been modified, wrecked, restored or bastardized, that is truly even more complicated to find. Well, if that was your dream, to own a very original 1965 Corvette Sting Ray that is very original, completely numbers matching with the original engine, transmission and all the other components that rolled out of the factory with it, here it is. Starting with an incredibly beautiful unmarred body that is extremely straight and shows extremely well with it's beautiful shinny paint finish, to the engine bay, undercarriage, and interior that shows so beautiful, this car is a dream come true for anyone wanting to enjoy driving their classic any day of the week, or for that matter every day. Turn the key over and she starts right up every time without a glitch. Drives down the road with authority and confidence that won't leave you hanging along side some road. This Corvette drives beautifully and needs nothing to be enjoyed immediately. Lights work, power features all work, the only items not working? The radio and the Power Antenna. All Glass is original, all body panels are original and show in exceptional condition. According to the codes, this car orignally had a White and Black vinyl interior. That means the doors, trim and seats would have been white originally but the dash would have been black as it is. The interior shows very well and shows very little wear and tear as you will soon see in all the pictures. Please review all the pictures (180 of them) very carefully as I have taken the time to show every inch of this car top to bottom. ?$$$? QUESTIONS ?$$$? Pick up the Phone and Call! 702-353-7500 I do NOT Answer EMAILS Requesting Price Quotes Before you send me that awful question, "what's your reserve or bottom line", let's take a moment to explain market values and how to get a deal on eBay. There isn't any accurate "Book Value" from the Kelly Blue Book or NADA Guide on a car like this. Figures both selling and buying for cars like this are subjective in nature and the only number that counts, if you are the seller, is the one from a serious buyer that makes you an offer. Over 29 years in thebusiness, dealers like myself, buy and sell by looking at what the rarity is and how difficult it may be to find such a unique vehicle like this one. Do I have an asking price? Sure, I posted that Buy it Now Price that I think reflects the condition and rareity of that and how difficult it would be to find such an outstanding truck like this, but that number will have nothing to do with what you may offer whether that's higher or lower. That is why we sell exclusively on eBay and at other reputable sites. The numbers or offers come from the buyers that are serious and just like me, make their own minds up as to what they are willing to spend. We arehere to sell cars. With fifteen yearsexclusivelyon eBay and perfect feedback, it's obvious we do. Real buyers with serious offers in mind, either bid and they almost always call us. They almost always want to talk to the person in charge; that's me. I want to talk to you too and help you own this awesome vehicle. It keeps me in business. So, if you want a fantastic vehicle like you see here, one that is far above the average in condition, serviced and documented like this, simply call. Asking through email for my bottom line? Well, I just think you're not too serious or willing to make an offer; makes it a waste of my time and yours. If you just want to know what the market value is, do what we do, look atthe vehicle closely and try to find another just like it with similar rarity and documentation. If you can't find one, just decide what it is worth to you to own it. That is what I did and all we can hope for is that you offer a bit more than I did so I can stay in business. Most important though, since you "are" a serious and capable buyer, call me and let's talk. I don't wear a Plaid Coat, I don't talk really fast and I am the guy in charge, the owner, enthusiast and purveyor of some of the finest cars on the internet...not to mention the best thorough presentations. Let's talk...Call me Doug 702-353-7500 I've owned several C2 Corvettes, from NCRS Bloomington Gold awarded cars to less than driver quality cars. The top line museum quality cars are great if you want perfection at the high price of spending big bucks to own one, but an even bigger price of not being able to drive it when you want to. If you are like me, driving these magnificent cars are such a big part of enjoying them. Having one that is number's matching is so important to retaining the highest return for a collector car. Having one that looks like a show car from top to bottom, but not so much like a perfected museum piece makes for a true driving experience that most buyers truely want. So, if the ideal for you is a show quality car that can be appreciated at any local car show but you don't want to be burdened by the nit pickers telling you that is not like a "Brand New Car" then this ride should be perfect for you. I attend car shows regulary, participate with my cars and show them as often as I can. I also see what other cars show up at these shows. Las Vegas has a huge classic car fan base and owner's base and I can honestly say less than 5 percent of the cars that show up to these car shows are as spectacular as this Corvette is. Finding a western C2 Corvette with no frame rust, no previous body damage and numbers matching is so rare. When you see how nice this Corvette is underneath, you'll understand what I am talking about...the only thing better, would be that "NCRS - Bloomington Gold" garage queen as far as looks go...but if you want much more than just looks, you want to drive it and enjoy taking it to every car show in your area, this Corvette will fill that ticket for you. 1965 Chevrolet Corvette StingRay Coupe VIN: 194375S122492 Showing on Odometer: 24,521 (exempt) Engine: 327ci 300hp V8 engine Transmission: Automatic Exterior: Goldwater Yellow Interior: Black Vinyl Build Date; 7/65 Over 180 high resolution pictures below. This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe has beautiful lines, not stress seam cracks and drives as sweet as she looks. I would not hestitate to drive this car cross country either. She's smooth on start up as well as running cool. The whole time I did my photoshoot, I had this car running so I could get in and reposition it for the best shodowless views. No leaks whatsoever and no known issues with it's drivability. Power windows function briskly without fail. The engine sounds tight and has perfect compression on all cylinders. Brake pads are like new front and rear. Unless you want the radio, antenna and clock to work, you won't need to spend a dime on this great Corvette, just drive and enjoy it for years to come. Extreme quality condition mechanically and cosmetically, ZERO rust or faulty mechanical components. That is all I want from my cars, 100% ready to be appreciated and enjoyed by their new owners. I can give you my opinion of this great vehicle or you may already have one, but I can tell you, this Corvette matches up with the highest quality original Corvettes that you may ever find. Enjoy the next few pictures of the exterior and I will resume at the interior so I can share my thoughts there and my assessment. So there it is...OK..go ahead and say it...OH MY GOODNESS! Yes, it is extremely nice for 52 years...but not perfect. Nothing glarringly bad of course, but again, I am not trying to paint a picture that this car is flawless either. I'm guessing that many years ago, someone took the time to change the interior over to all black because the codes tell us the car had a White and Black interior...that would mean the seat vinyl, door panels, upper hard paneling and window trim would have been white with the balance of the carpet, dash and headliner being black. For those Purist who want completely original, that would be an easy redo to complete. But, looking at it as it is, the all black interior is quite sharp indeed. About eleven years ago, I had two 1967 Corvettes, one a Tri-Power NCRS/Gold convertible and the other a Coupe...the Coupe had the white and black interior as seen here. Just to give you an idea what that combination looks like. ' The engine is numbers matching and original to this car The tag below the distributor, the left and righ manifolds below A note from the owner. I am a "used car dealer" but before that, I'm an automobile enthusiast. I love original rare and high quality modified vintage cars and over the past decade I've been in business, have come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, high value vehicles. I specialize in and am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners. I have an experienced eye for quality but I've discovered that my preferred buyer can instantly discern such a vehicle and I have therefore, built my business and reputation around finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer. Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict requirements but a car must do something for me on a personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, the bidder, that this is an above average, exceptional vehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, it probably won't do much for you either and I would soon be out of business. With just four employees and no sales people, I realize how unusual a "dealership" like mine may at first glance appear. It has taken great care and effort to create such an organization and often, an unusually high investment in a particular car we are about to list. To sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my corner and Chris, owner of A-Best Auto Repair in Henderson, Nevada has my back. He and his crew can fix anything; from a low budget beater to the absolute most expensive exotic you can name, no job is too big and no small detail unimportant. They do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and nothing escapes their methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly "right" will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy customer that says good things about me. Moreover; it allows my writer to describe the car with ease and confidence, something that simply is not possible unless he thinks it is true. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction. After the vehicle is fully sorted it arrives at our facility where it encounters the suspicious eye of Tom, my writer that creates the presentations you see on eBay. He believes absolutely nothing I or anyone else tells him about the car as he combs over every inch, researches its history and documents originality and authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special features, possible modifications and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 150 high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers and I've developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they so meticulously clean. This reconditioning can sometimes take several days and I've converted a paint booth, especially prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each car lovingly receives. Usually, I'll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it's a fast car, we film it going fast. If it's a 4x4 you'll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch the temperature fall on a digital, laser thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent. How many "dealers" will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? We do. No "dealer," on-line or in the real world, takes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, the buyer, with so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or feel their purchase, that my vehicle is for real and what I say is the truth. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on eBay. To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought it. If you have any questions at all, please call me on my cell at: 702-353-7500. If your inquiry is sincere and your offer serious, you'll find me the most accommodating business partner you've ever dealt with. If you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or "what is my bottom line" I will be looking for ways to politely end the conversation. Until you are ready to actually pull the trigger, I will happily quote you the absolute highest nationally advertised suggested retail price I can find - a number we both know will not buy the car so, don't waste your time, or mine. I am after all, a "used car dealer." Serious buyers know the maximum they can offer. I then must simply decide if I can sell for that number. If you hit the reserve, the decision is no longer mine. I must sell at that number.
