1958 chevy big window short fleetside! Engine is a rebuilt 300 hp 350ci with a aluminum intake and a edelbrock 4 barrel, shorty headers, tubs perfect. Transmission is a rebuilt th400 with a shift kit that gets a second gear scratch! Rear end is a rebuilt 10 bolt 3:73 ratio posi. All lights work! Front end is a z28 camaro front stub with pw steering that has been completely rebuilt and new brakes all the way around! New power brake booster and master under cab in the original location. Gas tank in rear of truck under bed. New dual exhaust with turbo mufflers. Truck is currently licensed and street legal and runs down the road nicely. It handles nicely with the independent front suspension and steers tightly! Only rust holes on the body are above the windshield inside the cab but the sun visors pretty much cover those. Body is straight and doors close tight. As always there are improvements to be made like widow seals and such but this truck can be Dailey driven while being improved! Heater works, wipers don't and fuel Gage isn't hooked up but harness has been ran to the tank back to dash cluster for future install. The Speedo quit working last week but I think it's just the cable. I hate to get rid of the truck after putting in so much work but I have many other things to do that take precedence over the truck. This truck was an original v8, deluxe short box fleetside and still retains all of its original sheet metal!
