1970 Chevelle SS 454 convertible 4 sped and 331 12 bolt posi. I am listing this for a friend who does not do ebay. He has owned it for about 12 years and bought it basically the way it is. He did do normal routine maintance but other than that it has not needed anything. There is no documentation to prove it being a real SS but it has everything it should have including power front disc brakes, 12 bolt rear end, boxed control arms, rear sway bar correct big block tach and bolt on steering shaft The car was repainted and the interior was freshened up before he purchased it in its original phathom blue paint and a bucket seativory interior . Some of the options include power steering, power disc brakes, power top, console, tach and gauges, tilt and AM FM radio. The engine is a correct date coded454 512 block but it has been decked at some point so the vin number does not appear on it. The motor runs strong with no problems. The muncie four speed is a 1970 dated muncie m20 but is a couple months to late for the car. The transmission shifts nice with no problems. The rear axle is alsocorrectly dated to the car it is a 331 12 bolt posi with no problems. This is a great car with a desirable color combination that's ready for some one to enjoy. 454 512 block dated J229 Muncie M20 dated P0B25a 12 bolt 331 posi dated 1112B2 I have a lot of pictures so please email me with questions or requests.
