1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air
This is a brand new car that is about 99% done. it has maybe 100 miles on it and over $70k in receipts. I did not build this car. This car was built by a friend of mines dad, he has owned the car since the mid 70s and it was a gasser then. some time in the 90s he tore it down and started his build. He was wanting it done for the 50th anniversary in 2007. The car was almost complete when Terry fell ill and passed away. The car never got finished. The car is in current running and driving condition but should have the bugs worked out of it as any new build should. The stuff that needs to be finished is small things. tie up the last of the wiring, install a horn, install shifter cover, hookup up speedo, fix the oil pressure sending unit, minor things. someone will get a good deal on this car and have it done in no time. i bought this car after terry passed and have slowly chipped away at things, but my love for the 57 has faded and i would rather enjoy what little free time i have, playing with my muscle cars and jeeps. i have a box or receipts and all instructions and manuals for nearly everything for this car. i have most all the pictures from the build in both picture form and on a cd. the car was stripped down to the frame and the frame was sent to Jim Meyers racing. was fitted with a Mustang II front and 4 link rear, coils all the way around, tubular A-arms, Dutchman 9", 4 wheel discs, a power rack, and more. The engine is a 1957 354 Chrysler Hemi with dual quads and a solid lift cam. over $8k spent in just the top and and other parts from hot heads. the engine was built by a local shop and dyno tuned. i have been unable to locate the actual dyno sheet but have pictures on it on the dyno and the receipt for the dyno, but no numbers sheet yet. behind the hemi is a TCI TH400. The body was sent to hot rod dream works in canby oregon. there is was stripped to bare metal, everything fixed and straightened to perfection, mini tubs installed, and painted to a beautiful glossy perfection. i dont know the actual name of the color but its somewhere between a candy apple red and brandy wine. it took them almost a year for the body and paint and cost $23k. The car was wired with a new auto wire kit, lots of lokar parts, ididit column, full Dakota digital instrumentation, beautiful black interior. every piece of trim is brand new from Dans Classics. there is over $12k in receipts from them. the list goes on and on. the car is for sale locally and you are encouraged to come look in person, call with any and all questions. i can send more pictures upon request as ebay wont let me load anymore for some reason. i can be reached at 503-799-0666 or 503-519-7290 any time. buyer to pay all shipping but i will be willing to help with any and all arrangements for world wide shipping. this is a beautiful car and needs someone to enjoy it. my heart isn't in it and i need to try and get some money back. i have a fully enclosed car hauler and could possibly deliver for the buyer.Vehicle Details:
