This truck was built by an engineer on a budget with strength, simplicity and reliability in mind. It started life off as a 1980 Blazer and became a compilation of GM 3/4 & 1 Ton Parts plus goodies from a military truck junkyard nearby that were all handcrafted into a purpose built truck like none other on the planet.
Yes, it is crude and what you see is what you get but I guarantee you won't be towed out of anywhere and will take down any obstacle you encounter with ease. With its Big Block power it is a true animal in ALL aspects. It also comes with a clear title, headlights, brake lights and directionals if you dare wander the streets at night !
I recently rebuilt the trans and have no time to put it back together with my current life situation. One Saturday and some TLC will bring this Beast back to life. My loss is your gain. CLEAR TITLE !
SPECIFICATIONS
ENGINE : Rebuilt 454 chevy BIG BLOCK 3K Miles, Crane Cam Fireball grind, Holley TBI injection unit with inline Holley fuel pump, Mallory fuel injection firewall mount remote filter, Jet Performance chip, Headman Headers / shorty block hugger style,Supertrap tunable mufflers, electronic ignition. Fresh air plumbed to air cleaner from inside cab.
TRANS / TRANSFER CASE : Turbo 400 HD with cast inspection plate, Fresh rebuild 0 mile, NEW shorty output shaft to mate up with the 205 / 203 low range Doubler Kit. NEW 0 miles Hi Stall converter. 4 point cradle mount to frame. B&M Ratchet Shifter with reverse lock out.
FRONT AXEL : Dana 60 / 35 spline with 4:56 gears with upgraded high spline axel shafts with oversized U-joints / NEW Detroit Locker . Warn Hubs with spare parts Just serviced with new inner & outer seal, bearings / races /upper & lower ball joints & Synthetic Fluid . Heavy Duty case guard.
REAR AXEL : GM Corporate 14 Bol, 4:56 gears with Detroit Locker. Complete service with outer seals and Synthetic Fluid. Heavy Duty case guard, and Disc Brake conversion from a Suburban .
SUSPENSION : 4 inch Rancho front springs with 8 inch Revolver Shackle set-up. Custom 1/4 eliptica, Triangulated 4 Link with rear bucket swivel shackles & inverted leaf spring setup for over 20 inches of drop travel with a Dead Man limiting chain.
TIRES : Super Swamper Boggers / 44 x 19.5 Wheel /tire combo approx 5 K new.
LIFT: 4 inch body lift made from HD square tubing.
FRAME : For super strength the frame has been plated using 3/16 steel plate.
STEERING : Hi -Steer Crossover Kit on Dana 60 with 2500 PSI Hydro-Boost ram assist. Oversized reservoir to aid in cooling and high fluid circulation.
BRAKES : Hydro-Boost Brake assembly out of a K3500 . ALL brake lines replaced with Stainless Steel assemblies.
FUEL : 20 Gal Aluminum fuel cell with NEW cap and mounting kit. All new soft lines from the tank forward.
INTERIOR : Heavy Duty Off Road seats, standard Chevy seat belts in there now but comes with 5 Point Harness belts to be installed, Autometer Gauges including Speedo, Tach, Oil pressure, Fuel GaugeWater Tem, and Trans oil temp.
COOLING : Heavy Duty 4 Core Radiator with Dual Electric Fans with toggle switch for crawling mode.
Front And Rear 4 inch winch recievers with winch cradle and pin lock.
Dual battery Tray for crossover wiring to be used with 12K winch.
