Description:

1986 Chevrolet C-10 Silverado

Up for grab is a killer 5.3 LS powered 86 Chevy pickup. This is the classic square body truck with the performance of the modern engine. I did not do the swap myself but I have had it a few weeks and put some miles on it. The power from the LS is killer and scoots on down the road.POWERTRAIN: The 5.3 LS is bolted up to a 350 turbo transmission and fed by a Edelbrock Carburetor. The coils are wired up and fired through a 6ls MSD box and tied into the factory wiring harness. The motor mounts are a kit that bolt up to the factory v8 mounts. The 350 turbo trans was bolted up using a adaptor plate. The rear-end was said to be a locker unit but I canNOT confirm that. The electric fuel pump is noisy but does its job. The truck is running off the left side fuel tank. The right side tank was replaced and new but is not hooked up. The A/C is not hooked up but I do have the 5.3 compressor to send with the truck. The exhaust is new with headers and flowmasters turned out behind the rear tires.
INTERIOR:
The red factory interior is in great shape for its age. The door panels have a little fading on the top, the arm rest are coming apart (easy fix), There is no cracks in the plastic! The dash has a crack in the center (see pics) and some glazing in the bottom on the windshield (see pic). The carpet has no tears or major stains and is in good shape. The headliner is new and covered in black. The gauges all work except the temp gauge (sometimes a knock is required to wake the fuel gauge up). The factory radio does work. The windows work up and down from the drivers side only. The vent windows was siliconed shut ( not sure why). Again the interior is not perfect but is in great shape considering!
BODY:
The black paint on this truck is in good shape for a driver quality. It shines and looks good from a feet away. It has dents and dings on it. The only major damage on the truck is around the left rear wheel (see pics). The truck has zero rust on it anywhere. There has been some amateur paint work on it but again its great for a driver. The bumpers, grille, lights, trim, and emblems are in excellent shape. The fender badges and trim are all new. The taillights are brands new as well! The inside of the bed is flawless. No major scratches or dents. The doors, hood, tailgate all open/close as they should. I believe the paint to be original to the truck so there is dings and scratches.
Wheels:
BRAND NEW!! Ridler 650 wheels with brand new tires. The fronts are 20 x 8.5 with 245/35/R20 tires. The rear are 20 x 10 with 245/35/R20 tires. The wheels have the gunmetal centers with the polished lip. They really set the truck off! The truck is lowered with spindles and rear shackles and perches.
Again I have drove this ol truck and had zero issues with it. I wouldn't be scared to jump in it and take off anywhere. The LS is impressive with the power it delivers. The truck is not perfect but again its a very cool clean start to a restoration or just drive it daily!! It's definitely a looker and catches some attention.
Truck will be sold AS IS! I've tried to explain it best I can but I'm sure I may have missed something.
I made this little video to give a better idea of the truck. sorry for the flipped view ( gotta love cell phones). https://youtu.be/dvPnl2-WfDc
