Original owner’s manual, service manual, assorted restoration receipts, and also 2 sets of keys. The last owner of this rare Vette enjoyed his car after being restored, he drove it rather than letting it sit and waste away. Because it’s been driven regularly over the years it drives beautifully and runs flawless. It starts and idles without hesitation or smoke. Its smooth and true going down the road. But as with anything mechanical when it’s used things can get wore. Those things are as follows: The hard-top liner is aged and shrunk a little, as well as discolored slightly. The clock isn’t working and the odometer has recently stopped, the turn signal canceler isn’t working either. Regarding the overall cosmetic condition of the car, It’s really exceptional taking into account it was restored 30 years ago, but as any car that has gotten use it has it’s flaws. First being above the drivers side front wheel there is a crack/chip out of the fiber glass. It’s not huge but its there and at a second glance you’ll see it clearly (see photo) the car has sustained quite a few rock chips throughout the front nose, mostly from the mid seem down but there are a few above and on the hood. Of course, they’ve all been touched up and are seriously hard to see until you get right down to looking at them. Behind the rear tires the same goes, multiple rock chips that have been nicely touched up and don’t jump out at you anymore. The drivers seat has started to lose the dye off it’s leather but there isn’t any rips, however there is a little stretching at the riffles. The carpet is nice as is the dash, gauges, glass, rubber, stainless, chrome, fit and finish. The car looks in person as good as it does in the pictures but if you want to start picking out items it does have it’s flaws. Now obviously the car isn’t meant to be a garage anchor or a trailer queen. This is a numbers matching L71 1967 Big Block Corvette Convertible you can DRIVE! Its got great looks IN FACT ITS GORGEOUS!!! The paint shines and sparkles, it’s smooth and clean, no shrinking or spider cracking, it’s got wonderful sound, it’s got lots of power, the chrome glistens in the sun, the lights work, the gauges operate, the doors close smoothly, the wipers wipe (however I doubt the cars seen much rain if any) . It’s got everything you need to proudly drive and enjoy it without feeling guilty. 14,000 approximate miles since it was restored. This is the real deal investment car that you can own, use, and later, when your ready, improve upon a few things and have yourself a tidy payoff from a car proven to only go up.
