1950 Chevrolet Other Pickups

Up for auction is a 1950 Gmc 5 window truck that has been put on a 1994 S-10 chassis that was shortened 5in. The chassis has had extensive work with all Tubular front suspension and a Thorbeck Brothers 4 link rear end system. Also Rear frame was C-Notched to make the rear end stuff into the frame. The truck has 4 wheel independant airbag system with twin Viair compressors and a 5 gal tank or so.Not the fastest system in the world but gets the job done. Also has the Hornblaster Train horns that work great! People move for sure hooked up to the center Billet steering wheel. The controller could be upgraded but now is just the switchbox as you see works fine. Has the gauges on the dash that show each corner and tank pressure. The Truck has 4 wheel Slotted and drilled brakes with Corvette calipers. The Engine is also from a 1995 Corvette that had been sent to a custom shop here in MN called TPIS. This is a Tuned port engine that runs great all kinds of work was done as you can see the Guy I got this from said his bill at TPIS Was 12k !!! Has stamped on both valve covers TPIS Racing Engines it sounds nasty! has gear to gear timing so it has a cool sound for sure with a nice Throaty exhaust. Msd Ignition all new as well in the build. I don't know the H.P on the engine but this little truck flies. No problem blowing up the rear tires.... Has a $1000 Griffin aluminum radiator with electric fans runs pretty cool. The rear end has all been gone through and has 4.10 gears with posi. The Trans is a Turbo 350 that was new 2k ago. The whole truck has 2k miles on it since built. 2K miles on the tires and wheels as well they are 18" Boss wheels with Toyo Proxis Tires. This has all new wiring with a custom Circuit center it does have brake lights but no headlights or turn signals easy to add as the circuit center has provisions for them just never finished that part. The truck has all Autometer Phantom Gauges that all function as it should No Speedo. The Truck itself is in good shape Rare to find a 5 window GMC has some rust on the floors in the corners that could be fixed but cab and fenders are all in really good shape even the GMC Tailgate is nice. I mounted this truck on Rubber isolators all the way around so it rides super nice and is quiet as it gets. The Truck is Titled as a 1950 GMC with a clear MN Title. All New Windshield and rubber last year installed. This truck Runs and Drives Great has won awards at every show entered turns more heads than a Ferrari! Any questions email me and I can Talk or get you my Phone number to Chat am more than happy to answer any questions. I can help with shipping as well. I just drove this truck over 100 miles to a show with no problems so its more than reliable.. Thanks Sean
