Here is a Rare Find. 81,xxx miles
This is a 1993 Chevrolet Beauville G30 Indianapolis 500 Official Truck.
This would have been used at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
I found this at a Church They had owned it since 1998. It has not been driven or ran since 2012.
I put a battery in it and it fired right up. Ran real bad most likely due to 5 year old gas. I Changed oil and a Battery. I mixed some premium fuel in to try and make it run better but i haven't driven it much to run all the bad gas out. I do get an occasional check engine light and it comes up lean fuel so it needs the bad gas ran all the way out.
At this point the van does run and drive pretty decent but a daily driver at this point i would say no.
Something in the front of the engine rattles I believe its the water pump or smog pump.
Engine is strong and holds 50 plus oil pressure at idle
Trans shifts good
Brakes feel good
Tires have great tread with no flat spots or uneven wear
A/C does not work and Radio does not work. I would suggest a tune up.
I have not had a lot of time to work on it so I'm sure more things will need addressed but nothing major.
Truck appears to have original paint and decals but someone has painted the moldings down.
It does have a few dings and dents and i would say it needs a repaint unless you like that look.
The Interior is dirty but i do believe a good steam cleaning and it would turn out fantastic
I do have a Clean Indiana Title
