vintage 1939 Chevy business mans coupe
1939 Chevrolet business mans coupe
Frame removed and sandblasted.
Frame painted with Por 15.
Body has been professionally sand blasted as well. No warping.
A little Bondo remains on doors and front fenders. I did not want to warp them, and it should sand off easily and won't require more than a skim coat.
Hood, front fenders, and grille are in good condition.
Back fenders are in fair condition and repairable. They will need Bondo removed and some metal work performed on them. Previous owner seemed to prefer using Bondo rather than pulling out the dents.
I have a new aluminum radiator with cooling fan and a/c condenser included for it.
Heidts Mustang II front end is installed with 2" dropped spindles and power steering rack and 11" disc brakes.
Rear end is from a '99 Explorer with disc brakes and locking differential.
The new firewall with a 2" backset for a V8 engine has been spot welded into place. I have a new front floor tacked inwith a new transmission tunnel not yet installed.
Iwas fortunate tofind a used trunklid with only a couple dents to pull out. Also included isa new trunk floor extension and rear tail pan.
I have a couple sets of running boards that need some work but could be used.
The gas tank has been boiled out and sealed.
I have a box of new glass for the car.
The dash components are complete and boxed for reuse.
I do not have the original steering shaft and wheel buthave one from a newer car you can have.
I have a newly rebuilt Chevy 283 engine and rebuilt 700r4 transmission that could go with the car for an additional cost.
May consider trade for El Camino or Ranchero.
