1957 Corvette- Fuel Injection, Both Tops, Wonderbar Radio
1957 Chevrolet Corvette Period Correct Hot Rod
Seems like some folks are really hung up on stock Vettes these days. I have great respect for an original, however as I recall the 60's and 70's, it was O.K. to put ona set ofmags, add a newer quicker motor, or personalize your car without the "Corvette Police" flipping out. This 57 is an honest presentation of whata lot of Corvettes were in that era.The Car has a1962 327 with Rochester mechanical fuel injection. It has a new Richmond Aluminum Super T-10 4 speed with a 2.88 first and a Long'sball joint racing shifter. The 327 has solid lifters,Duntov cam, long tubeheaders, 2.02 double hump heads and more. Aluminum bellhousing, light flywheel, new clutch and pressure plate. Start this baby and the rumpety rump and blown out glass packs turn heads instantly. Both tops, wonderbar radio. Paint has some flaws, however body is very solid and has no cracks, stars or spiders. Body panels are original. Frame is undamaged, unrepaired, andhas no significant rust. The Car runs and drives very strong. Unlike many C-1 Corvettes, this car does not rattle and rolls down the road smoothly. Chrome, Stainless, and WindowGlass are all very good.I am the fourth owner of this great piece of Street Rod History. This car's stance, exhaust note, and look allstart conversations anywhere they go. A great Car at a very realistic price. Questions? 208-598-5773
