Up for sale we have a 1969 Chevrolet Nova. This is a Yenko Replica that features a crate 427 engine. We believe this was an original 60K mile car when it was pulled apart and restored. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Nova. This is arguably one of the best bodies we've seen on a Nova. It has all its original panels that has a phenomenal fit and every gap is excellent. It's extremely straight down the sides and the Dusk Blue paint does a great job of accented how great the body is. The paint has been buffed and polished to a mirror finish that's every bit as slick down low as it is up high. This '69 has the Gray Yenko Stripes on the hood and down the sides. All the chrome appears to have been replaced and is like new. Also, all the stainless except the rear tail light bezels is like new. Looking at the glass it's all excellent with only some light scratches on the side glass. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of Painted 14" Steel wheels with Firestone Wide Oval Tires.
Next, we will move to the interior of the Yenko Replica. On the inside, it's done in the classic black with bench seats that have new seat covers and the padding is great. The door panels are also done in black and have been replaced. Looking at the headliner it's new as well and has an excellent fit. The visors look excellent and the rear-view mirror is like new. In the floor, it has the Hurst Four Speed Shifter with factory style boot, and you'll notice the carpet has been replaced along with the seal plates. When you look at the dash you'll see that the dash pad is like new and that it's a radio delete car. All the gauges are working along with the E-Brake.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood everything is neat and clean. It features a Crate 427 Engine that's set up with Aluminum Heads and Intake with a Dual Line Holley Carb. The breather is Chrome along with the Valve Covers. The power flows through the Borg Warner Four Speed and 12 Bolt Posi Rear End with 3.73 Gears. To keep it cool it has the aluminum water pump and a four-core radiator. For exhaust, it has the Big Tube Headers with dual pies and Pypes Race Pro Mufflers. This Nova has manual steering and standard brakes, but it does have Disc on the front. When you get under this '69 all the floors appear solid along with the frame. Frame connectors were added and it had a driveshaft loop as well as a rear passenger traction bar. Under the front everything is new from the ball joints to the bushings.
