It has its matching numbers 283 2 bbl. that runs like new. Who didn't throw on a 4bbl. or headersback in the day. This guy!!
This car is incredibly original, interior, under the hood etc. are all factory.
It has power steering, new tires, battery and has been tuned up, fluids changed and is ready to go. Every gauge, instrument. light, blinker etc. work as the day it was built. Not often you find an original car this well kept.
It was last registered in 1995 and I hold the Mass. paperwork signed by the original purchaser and he is still at the same address since 1964.
It sat for 22 years in his garage because the power glide tranny went bad. He had a rebuilt TH350 installed a few months ago along with new tires to get the car ready for sale. I have the original glide and converter and linkages which go along with the car. It did have one repaint in the original Daytona Blue back in 1981. He had purchasedthe Ziebart undercoating when he bought the car, which carried a lifetime warranty. He had some rust appear in the lower quarters so Ziebart replaced the quarters and re painted the car under warranty in 1981.Still looks great butthat was 36 years ago and car sat for 22 of those years.
This is a car you can get in and drive with no issues. Bone stock original.
