Description:
1970 Chevrolet El Camino
This is a 1970 Chevrolet El Camino. I have a shop in Tulsa. We bought this cars to play with then circumstances changed. Now I am wanting to sell..The car has a fresh motor build. Transmission is strong. 12 bolt rear diff. The car was built to be a daily driver. If you want more power then you can spend the money. Dropped with good paint. There are some imperfections, but it is a nice running car. I do not know of any major safety issues or mechanical issues. Right after we bought this car I had to rebuild the motor. Now it is available for someone at a great deal. I was told a car identical to this sold for $35k and local classic car auction. I am asking $24k. If you are serious then let me know if you want a bargain I got one of those cars too. Title is good and Clean. That is about all I know. You can tweak it here or there. I'm sure you can spend all the money you want on it. Trying to be honest so that you know what you are getting. When we bought the car we had it shipped. After driving for a little while we noticed a light knock on decel, That is when we found the thermostat was missing and it was winter. That was the reason for the rebuild. E-brake also does not work and I am not interested if fixing it. The car was born with A/C but the evaporator and compressor are missing. but he controls are intact. Interior is in great shape vinyl top is in great shape paint looks good but got a hickey on the top of the right fender where the hinges were worn, So we put on new hinges and touched up the paint. Looks good just not perfect. I can send pics if you are serious. 650 card installed but I have Holley 850 in box to wake it up. Headers, pipes, Sounds Great, Runs GREAT!Mileage is exempt, not actual. I just had ebay user tell me this is not a real SS. I do not know. The point is this is a nice car SS or not. If you want a clean straight car this car is that. I did not build the car it was built when we got it. It is worth a look. the down side of this is the titles didn't always say that they were SS models or not nor can you always tell from the VIN. you can get close and maybe a certain car if built with this option or that was SS specific. Then you can deduce that it probably is. Take it for what its worth. El Camino with nice paint with nice interior, with 12 bolt rear diff and 400 trans, Good Strong 454 with headers and customer exhaust, nice wheels and tires. No major damage. no rust that I can find. Driver. That is what it is.
