Where were you in '62?
For sale is this BARN FIND 1962 Corvette. Still has the remnants of 40 years of dry storage... Truly a barn find, having been kept in a dry storage spot since the mid 70's.
This Corvette is a 2 top car, having both the hard top and soft top. Also has the original hub caps.
The frame is super solid and in very good condition. (more pictures available upon request)
The body is in very good condition as well. It is the original color, Ermine White. The original hub caps are on the car as well.
The interior is red, and is in tact. The door panels and dash pad are very nice. The original WonderBar radio is in the dash, as are the original gauges and steering wheel.
The engine is NOT original. However, it does turn over. We did not try to start it. There is a tach drive distributor installed in the engine. The transmission is an Automatic. Unsure as to whether or not it is original to the car.
THIS CAR DOES NOT RUN, AND DOES NOT HAVE ANY BRAKES. IT WOULD NEED TO BE TRAILERED / TOWED AWAY. DOES NOT RUN AND DOES NOT DRIVE.
This untouched Corvette is a great candidate for a restoration project, resto-mod, or whatever else you can think of. It's not every day that a true barn find such as this one shows up. Don't miss your chance to own a classic C1, solid axle Vette.
