SHARP LOOKING TRUCK & WELL OPTIONED! CRATE 350 V8, AUTO, A/C, PS, PB W/ FR DISC!
1972 Chevrolet C-10
We see a lot of pickup trucks here at Streetside Classics, but rarely do we get them as nicely restored as this 1972 Chevy C10 Super Cheyenne. Full of options, it is very well detailed, expertly built, and tastefully finished, and offers a few upgrades like cold A/C and an awesome stance that make it a genuine pleasure to drive. This is one of those vehicles that almost turned out too nice to drive, which is why it's available today. I doubt they came much nicer than this from the factory, and even though it's been driven about 3600 miles since it was completed, it still looks like a million bucks. That handsome two-tone metallic orange-over-white finish required thousands of dollars just in materials, never mind the hours spent buffing, sanding, and applying the finish. The truck was especially clean to start with, and the results speak for themselves. The Super Cheyenne comes fully dressed with lots of shiny stuff, including stainless body side moldings, woodgrained inserts on the sides and the tailgate, plus big, bold CHEVROLET lettering out back. Clear taillights look high tech, the rear bumper tucks in close to the bodywork, and if you still need a pickup on weekends, this one has a spray-in bedliner so it's ready to rock any time. The beautiful interior is up to snuff, with handsome houndstooth upholstery on the factory bench and a whole lot of new equipment. In fact, pretty much everything you can see or touch IS new, including the carpets, door panels, and even the seat belts. Power steering, power brakes, power windows, and A/C were all part of the deal, along with a tilt steering column topped by a wood-rimmed billet steering wheel. The gauges in these trucks are perhaps the best-looking factory instruments of the era, all fully rebuilt and with crisp graphics on their faces, and a factory tach is a rare find indeed. A modern AM/FM/CD stereo radio was fitted in the dash and includes a remote control. It's every bit as nice as it looks. The engine is a 350 cubic inch crate motor with a few choice upgrades to make it fun to drive. A GM aluminum intake and Holley 4-barrel carburetor handle the fuel side, with shorty headers and a trick exhaust system managing the spent gasses. Check out the neatly arranged wiring, the chrome air cleaner, and shiny dress-up for the valve covers and alternator, all of which make this an engine bay you'll want to show off every chance you get. The big radiator is cooled by a giant electric fan and there's a serpentine belt drive system for the accessories. The original TH350 3-speed automatic transmission shifts cleanly, making this a great choice for a daily driver. There's a lot of new equipment underneath, including shocks, lowering springs, and the aforementioned exhaust system, which uses Flowmasters and turn-downs behind the rear axle. It also includes power steering and power front disc brakes, so you shouldn't be afraid to hit the road with this one. It rides on awesome Billet Specialties wheels with staggered 255/50/17 front and massive 305/45/18 rear Nitto tires.Given the amount of work that went into the build, the asking price has to be a screaming bargain for the lucky new owner. You just won't find a nicer truck for less money anywhere. Call today!
