1981 Chevrolet Corvette

1981 Corvette numbers matching (included pic of engine block and car vin number for you to see) and all original. This Vette has the ST-10 4 speed manual, just over 5,700 vettes were given a manual in 1981, out of over 40k cars made that year. The car has mirrored glass T-Tops. From 6 or 7 feet and further away, the car looks perfect. I get compliments all the time. Once you get closer you can see knicks here and there. It seems like the car was probably painted about 8 or so years ago and since then was touched up here and there. Paint is great, just some knicks here and there. But like I said, from 6 feet away or further, it looks damn perfect.
The only things that aren't original is the kenwood CD player, Holley 650 CFM carb, and larger BFG T/A tires which are 245/60R15 and were installed 600 miles ago. Additionally, the smog pump has been removed as well as the catalytic converter being cut out and straight pipes were welded in. In 2014 front and rear calipers and brake pads were installed, as well as a new alternator. 2016 saw the removal of the smog equipment and installation of the Holley 650 CFM carb.
The only thing that is not currently functional on the car is the air conditioning as the compressor has a leak. I have a brand new in the box air conditioning compressor to go along with the car so that can be taken care of.
Things that will go with the car: T-Top leather bags, original air cleaner cover, original smog pump and hoses, car cover, brand new A/C compressor. I have numerous old registrations and a ton of receipts that will go with the car as well.
This vette runs great and is definitely a driver car, you can take it for a multi day road trip, it really does run spectacularly. And did I mention all numbers matching! Only reason I am selling the car is because I am moving across the country and it doesn't make sense right now to keep the car.
