1976 Chevrolet Caprice Caprice Classic
Time to sell my baby. Pictures tell the story. Runs absolutely perfect. Just shy of 64,000 original miles. Been in many shows lately and cruise nights. I have more photos. All of the damage to the body is pictured. It needs a few things to be perfect-a new top, very minor work to the metal around the trim(it is still rock solid). The paint is pretty old and faded in some areas. Not sure it you can save it,but a talented guy might be able to.
This stock is as stock as it gets. Right down to the original window sticker.
If you win the car, keep in mind I am keeping my license plate frames. They came out of my collection and are super rare.
This Caprice has been featured on numerous Facebook car pages and had a write up on jackbaruth.com via The Village Green from the same author who used to write for Curbside Classic.
It is well known on the Caprice/Impala pages.
The tires on it including the spare are brand new.
Bid to win it-I'm not going to give it away. I don't need the money. This is a chance to own a car that still makes jaws drop when it's out in public even though it needs minor work.
Title free and clear.
PLEASE READ: The "rust" issues are very minor. The metal is still solid. It is just pitted. There aren't any soft spots. The roof is solid as well. All of the expensive parts to replace on my car are near perfect. This is not a "junker".
NO RUST ON THE UNDERSIDE. I live in Spokane,Washington. This has been a Spokane car it's whole life. They don't rust out here. No salt. Come from an estate sale 7 years ago. Original owners deceased.

I would like something clear, this is not a demo derby car. If I catch wind that it will be wrecked and ruined,I will cancel your bids and pull the listing. I'm a member of a group called The Brougham Society and I save these from certain death. This is a really nice ride,I've had lots of fun cruising with it with my Dad. It brings lots of attention any time I bring it out. I also paid quite a bit of money for this car,it is not "cheap".

This Caprice was purchased new on March 10th,1976 from Buchanan Chevrolet here in Spokane,Washington. Buchanan is long gone now,but the car has remained here since new. Original sticker price was 6,660.85 off the lot. I have all the original paperwork for the car. Dealer brochures stamped from Camp Chevrolet here in Spokane as well. Camp still remains. I took a picture of it out front and the salesmen were going nuts. My guess? The original owners looked at the brochure at Camp-then ended up buying this one downtown at Buchanan. This car is an absolute dream to drive. It cruises down the road flawlessly. No noises,no weird rattles-nothing. It does not leak from the engine either. It is a turn key car you can drive anywhere. Even though it needs a little work here and there-it draws a crowd anywhere you take it.
