71 Chevrolet El Camino in Alabama Many new parts
1971 Chevrolet El Camino Custom
Drives realgood-Paint not perfect but not bad either-not a show quality paint job. Has been undercoated, new manual brakes-Bf Goodrich T/a Radials-interior, bumpers, windshield, interior. Dash not cracked-new door panels, carpet and kick plates.A/c not complete-missing a/c compressor-was going to upgrade to newer system but haven't yet. Currently insured and registered with Vintage tag by me Alabama does not have Title on Vehicles this old-so check with your DMV. Power steering-with tilt steering and manual brakes-. I was going to upgrade to disk brakes-but haven't.
Motor runs strong not certain if original motor-has a little lope to it with new carburetor. Automatic trans shifts good and has dual exhaust with flow master 50's nice sound but not to loud-with Trans-am type tips.
Right rear quarter panel was replaced and inner fender Passenger side with new battery tray. I also have a new drivers side new inner finder and few other parts left when redone about 4 years ago. We put new ignition switch and not certain if I can find the original keys to unlock the door but I will be looking.
I have more now than I can drive-this car rarely gets driven-just on fair weather dry days. A previous owner removed the radio and kept the over size radio-but it hasn't bothered me-as I get into the sound of it. Serious people can P.M. me or call Pat Callahan 334-514-0268
