Description:
1969 Chevrolet Impala 4 Door Hardtop
Negotiable (within reason) Local pick-up or transportation can be arranged but this car can be driven cross country if you decide to come pick it up.327 V8 4 Barrel Carb. Original Motor and Tranny and they run strong, new drum brakes all around, new brakes lines, new everything but kept to original specifications. Power-glide tranny. All original. Great condition. Bring your mechanic, have them look it over.
Regular services performed, treated like my own child, I love this car. Bought in the Bronx and brought back to life, all the metal is great, no Bondo special here, spare set of side panel moldings and headlights and brand new rockers panels that I can install for you.
Completely restored interior minus the dashboard (crack down the center as usual but if thats the worst thing in the car, its barely worth mentioning.) The interior is blue leather, completely restored, new blue headliner. Beautiful stitching and new springs. Seat belts for every seat, since the back did not have seat-belts and I take my children for cruises in this baby I installed brand new (indistinguishable from the original) seat-belts for all the back seats. The Cigarette lighter works and charges phones and has a modern adapter (removable that gives a readout of the battery which also is a nice touch to ensure your alternator is working) The stereo is a 'Classic Industries Impala Clone' that looks like the original but secretly it's a modern digital style with Bluetooth and Aux hookup and radio with a Bazooka tube in the trunk and new Ken-wood 6x9's.
The odometer literally just rolled over again so I cannot say what the exact mileage is but the motor is mint and the tranny is mint, metal filter, just had her serviced. I am not the 2nd owner, nor can I tell you how many owners there were before me. I purchased this vehicle through my brother while I was overseas and had the majority of the restoration done before I returned. What I can tell you is that a lot of money has gone into this vehicle, I ended up doing nearly a complete restoration to everything but the motor and tranny, they simply needed some new minor components and TLC. The previous owner took care of this vehicle but didn't have the means to keep her in the condition he wanted, but he always ensured she ran and had regular services and the power train attested to that.
I just recently purchased a 1967 Impala 4 Door Hard-Top which are rare and costly to restore and while I'm not keen on getting rid of this one, it will finance half the restoration for the '67. This car has all matching numbers and can go coast to coast and be fine. The only work I wanted to do to this car to feel complete in my eyes was a few minor beautification touch-ups (new mirrors, but they're cheap, new valve seals, and I wanted a TH350 Transmission, which I can probably get relatively cheap if you'd like me to find you one. Also, I was going to have a master metal-smith custom make new side trim moldings since they're hard to find with the inlay's, but Alas I do have a 2nd set, I just wanted mine to be specific to the vehicle and look brand new.
This is a Supernatural style Impala, but not an exact clone, that would be the '67 which I just purchased and those, in terrible condition, are going for anywhere from 10k-35k IN BAD CONDITION, which, to me, is a sin but that's what sharks do, supply and demand.
This car is 2 years shy of 50 years old, to me its not yet perfect but Restored to 90% showroom quality which is why I'm letting her go so cheap. I have brought this to car shows and meet-ups and the compliments never cease, I get flagged down and asked about the car constantly, people just love it. This is a rare 50 year old car and any Chevy Impala that's 1967 through 1969 in the 4 Door hard-top variants (the hard tops are pillar-less) are so rare in restored condition that they're going for disgustingly exorbitant prices (especially since Supernatural came out, and yes, I am a huge fan) that this car is going to move, if not this week, then within a short period of time. The price is negotiable within reason, but I have to get what I put into it at the very least. I do not want these messages saying "I'll give you 15,000"... I'm not rude, I'm not a shark, which is why its staying in this same price range. I wont take advantage of a fan of old cars, I simply need to make what I put into it so I can afford to restore the other one. If this doesn't sell within the first two postings, I wont be re-listing it, because I do want to keep it and I will if it doesn't sell, I'm not desperate at all. If you need to finance it, there are ways, contact your bank. For more pictures or info simply message me.
