for some the diff between a 68 and 69 is a few cosmetic items but mostly the door locks. The door button on the 68 opens the door not the wide chrome grip diff on the 69. Other then that there are no real differences between the 68 and 69. Even the chassis engine, rear end, and tranny are the same from maybe mid 60's to up into the 70's. Some people have preferences between the 68 and 69 the only diff is really that the 68 was the first year of the body change so it had to be sorted, most owners took care of that early on..
