1968 Chevrolet Camaro

It's really hard to describe this car. I've had over 100 classic and hotrods over the years but this is, y far, he finest of all of them. I'm only selling at this time due to an illness in the family.

Beautiful show winner! Incredible Viper red paint that has won "Best Paint" at the large Cow Palace Auto Show in San Francisco (originally theSacramento Autorama). Laser straight body and precision panel gaps. All chrome and stainless is restored or new. Firewall has been smoothed and painted body color. All new tinted glass. This car shows very well. This project started with a rust free California car.
The interior has been completely redone from top to bottom using a deluxe kit from Year One. The factory speedometer and tachometer have been replaced with AutoMeter Pro-comp gauges as well as the 4 auxiliary gauges in a custom mount in the console. The steering wheel is black mahogany with polished aluminum. Great sounding CD stereo with Clifford alarm and power door locks. The car has Vintage Air handling the heating and cooling. The trunk has been upholstered in a low-pile black carpet with a red accent stripe.
The engine is a 350 4-bolt main that has been bored .30 over with 2.02 camelhump heads. Very well built engine that runs and sounds great. Jim Inglese Webber 8 pak manifold. Electric cooling fan and huge 6 core aluminum Fluidyne radiator keeps the car from going over 180 degrees. The transmission is a Muncie M21 close ratio 4 speed that shifts great.
Suspension is setup with Eibach springs and Energy Suspension parts that let the car sit low and still provide excellent handling and streetability. The Camaro stops great with the power 4 wheel disc brakes. 17" Wheel Vintique Rally rims complete the package.
This entire car has only a few thousand miles since built and is still a proven show winner and ready to go.
