Custom 1981 Corvette tastefully done

1981 Chevrolet Corvette

This is a unique looking 1981 Corvette. It has been lowered on the front end by 2". This vette does have a completely different stance than any other Corvette I have seen. It has a classy, yet muscle car look to it. The front tires are slightly smaller @ 255 / 60 R 15 and the rear are 275 /60 R 15. The car was repainted and it has an aftermarket flare kit. I bought this Vette in 2004 from a neighbor. At the time that I purchased the car the Odometer said 18,000 miles and now reads 32607. Although the miles can't be verified I do believe that those might be original miles. At least that is what I was told. I do have several original items such as the dealer window sticker and the original factory window sticker.

I do have a few pictures taken and given to me by the first owners of this car enclosed in this ad.

The car is in good condition for it's age. It has been garage kept by previous owner and myself. The condition of the paint, interior and carpet speak for themselves. The seats need to be replaced that is why they have black Corvette seat covers on them.

I do know that from the time I bought it I have done alot of work to this car in the form of general maintenance and up keep. This Vette has been garage kept.

I do like all of my cars to be in good working order. I have documentation of having replaced in 2004 the Radiator, Valve Cover Gaskets, Oil Pan Gasket, Stainless Steel Brake Calipers and new pads, $2178.98.

Shortly after buying the Vette I replaced the wheels in 2004 $$938.96.

In 2006 the driver side power window motor was replaced $709.15

In 2009 there was a new master cylinder installed $277.89 and New KYB Gas Shocks installed by Les Schwab $268.56

New Stereo and speakers $724.97 in 2009

In 2015 I replace the tires $$1063.00 and had installed a new exhaust system from headers to mufflers replaced with Stainless Steel, Pictures included $2130.59

2015 Transmission rebuilt $1400.00

I have put over $8750.00 into this car over the last 12 years.

The car has normal blemishes a few small paint chips etc. I do drive the car. I have put some 14,585 miles on it in 12 years. There is a small blemish in the passenger door upper forward corner.

It has a stock 350 with an automatic transmission. Air-conditioning, power windows and door locks. The seats are manual adjust. T tops, alarm, horn and lights work.

This car was professionally appraised for insurance replacement value in 2012 before the new Transmission, Muffler and tires were installed on the car. The appraisal at that time was $22,800.
