This '65 Chevy Impala SS convertible has the perfect stance, the right look and the killer performance to back it all up. The team at Chris Holstrom Concepts (CHC) took this Impala and integrated a very extensive list of modern upgrades to create a big classic convertible with the performance and conveniences of today's late model Detroit muscle cars. It's relatively easy to make a classic car look good, the real appreciation of this build comes in the joy of the drive. Your first impression comes from the fuel injected 383 firing off with a tap of the key followed by all of the factory gauges coming alive, just as designed in 1965. Before you take off, Bluetooth link your music up to the stereo, drop the power convertible top and power windows with a few pushes of the buttons... or maybe it's a top up kind of day with the ice cold air conditioning blasting. Head out down the road and let the 435HP V8 work in unison with the sport tuned coil-over suspension. Go have some fun through the turns before comfortably cruising down the highway with one finger on the wheel. When it comes time to stop, the monster Baer brakes on all 4 corners make the job instant and effortless. There's something so exhilarating about the feel of driving a big American muscle car and once you experience this combination with the modern upgrades you'll never look back.

At the heart of the Impala lies a fuel injected 435HP 383CI aluminum head Fast Burn small block V8 crate motor paired to a 700R4 billet servo automatic transmission. The motor is outfitted with a Front Runner serpentine belt system, Vintage Air AC and a Be Cool aluminum radiator. The killer handling is attributed to 4-corner adjustable coil-over suspension with RideTech control arms, power steering and full Baer 4-piston power disc brakes rolling on 19" front and 20" rear staggered Rushforth Wildside forged wheels wrapped in BFG gForce Sport tires. When Chris Holstrom Concepts built the car, they lined the complete inside of the tub with Dynomat sound deadening before installing the interior. With the exception of the steering wheel and stereo, the interior was restored to original SS specs with OE correct black vinyl, bucket seats and the original SS center console. Power windows were added to all 4 side windows utilizing the factory style window cranks as the switches for a super clean look. Nothing was left untouched and everything works as it should, if not better. All the gauges, lights, signals, stereo, heater, air condoning, power convertible top... everything works. The Goldwood Yellow paint work was previously completed before the build. CHC took it to the next level by restoring or replacing every stitch of brightwork. The details really take this car to the next level. The perfect chrome on the bumpers, a flawless grille, the laser straight high polished trim throughout, even the billet hydraulic hood hinges are a work of art.

Local Washington residents are responsible for 8.5% sales tax as well as title and licensing fees. If you live outside of Washington state, you are responsible for applicable tax, title and licensing fees in your area.
