1953 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 sedan delivery

1953 chevrolet sedan delivery in it's original condition, not altered in any way with the exception of 12V conversion. The original 216 runs smooth and quiet with good oil pressure on the gauge, and a new water pump. Brakes are there and good. column shifter has a hang up with 1st and reverse gears, (in the linkage) otherwise drives just fine. Originalregatta blue paint, with a very old repaint of orig. color and some damage repair on the driver side.Bondo on rear quarter, and rear door. Front fender is replaced I think, all old damage issues are on driver side.Passenger side, full length, looks orig. and good. Couplebondo areas on roof. Floor panels have been patched very nicely, but rest of car shows very minimal rust issues. Undercarriage is actually very clean, with minimal surface rust. All inside areas,(under orig. plywood flooring) are rust free with orig factory undercoating still intact. Spare tire compartment is rust free. All molding is included, andbelt line stainless trim is in really good, undented condition. Just ask questions if you are interested!! I reserve the right to end auction early

I can possibly deliver, depending on your location. Or, I can recommend a very reasonable (good guy) shipper.

I will be happy to provide any additional pictures you may want. Most of these you find are already street rodded or altered in some way. ThisSedan Delivery can be done your way, without having to change someoneelses work first. My reserve is very fair as I just do not have time for another project. Also, feel free to call. I just remembered this; the engine runs from a small container of gas just ahead of the fuel pump. There is SOMETHING wrong between the gas tank and fuel pump. The fue, pump works fine. It has a plugged line,or a tank issue. Actually, I have never put any amount of gas in the gas tank to see if that is the only problem.

My description wasn't quite clear about the shifter linkage. It can be put into reverse and first gear easily by hand under the hood, it just won't go into those 2 gears with the column shifter. It goes into 2nd and 3rd gears with the column shift in the car. Also, an observing interested buyer noticed that in the picture of all the trim, that there wasn't the stainless trim piece for the rear door. They are correct, and I apologize, I didn't realize it is missing. I don't have it.
