For sale is a clean example of a 1961 Corvette, including the matching hardtop. I bought this car five and a half years ago with the goal of restoring it, but have not gotten to it and am letting it go. It is not a matching numbers car -- the motor is a 327 from a 1967 Corvette. It has a single Holley carburetor, and a four speed manual transmission. It also has the limited slip differential. It has drop-in power assisted steering and brakes, which make it safe and fun to drive but can be easily removed to restore the car to its original equipment.
The previous owner clearly took great care of this car. Stainless steel brake lines, a Flowmaster exhaust, etc, are clear signs that this car was well cared for. If you would like to see an email of the car running, message me and I will send you the YouTube link).
Once payment clears, buyer must arrange for local pickup or shipping. The car is located in Martinsburg, WV and is under the care of a professional mechanic. Payment via cashier's check is due within seven days. I will include the hardtop carrier/stand and any accessories I have for the car (covers, etc.). The vintage license plates are not included in the auction.
