1965 Chevrolet 110 Convertible, dual carb, 4 speed, Restored, garage kept
1965 Chevrolet Corvair convertible
You are bidding on a restored (older restoration) 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible with a 110 hp engine, dual carbs, and a 4 speed manual transmission. It is burgundy in color and has a very nice white vinyl interior and a white convertible top. It runs and drives as it should and is a garage kept car.
It was purchased new by the Wise family in Whitesville West Virginiaand was driven by young Bob Wise who was later elected to the Governors office and laterto Congress. When Bob was elected Governor he tracked the Corvair down and repurchased it and had it restored and used it sparingly while living at the Governors Mansion. After he was elected to Congresshe did not have room for it in D.C. so he sold itboyhood friend Steve who has used it in parades and for Sunday driving. It happens to be the colors ofGovernor Wise's high school alma mater GWHS in Charleston W.V.
Steve says it is time to find it a new home and he askedme to list it for him. His telephone # is 304 320 1572, he can answer questions you might have. My name is Dick Daugherty 304 549 8166 cell, 304 776 4600 work and I am a car dealer friend helping with the listing. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding...
