1955 Chevrolet Nomad Bel Aire

This 1955 Nomad has been in the same family since 1972. A true barn find, find in Sequim, WA. The former owner bought it in Seattle, WA in 1972. He always wanted to restore it but never found the time. The body is straight with some minor rust on the bottom of the doors and inside the tailgate. The inside floor is rusted through in places and will need to be replaced. There is one piece of chrome trim missing on both sides of the body, see photos. The roof is in very good condition with very minor surface rust. The passenger side window is cracked, all of the others are fine. The front seats are buckets but the original bench seat is included. One inside door panel is missing. I was told by the former owner that the motor is a 350 with a 4 speed transmission. The motor runs fine but the carburetor needs to be rebuilt. The car does run and drive. This is a great candidate for restoration.
