We are offering for your consideration a very nice 1953 Chevy 3100 Pick up Project.
We have a clear title to match the original serial number plate on the door.
Someone had begun to build this truck, however, never got much beyond the frame. However, the frame workshows excellent craftsmanship. The frame is already C-notched and was done very well. The rear suspension is ladderbar style suspension with coil over shocks. The front suspension is post 1970 Camaro with front steer power steering.The front frame section is tied into the original frame very well and looks extremely nice, with smoothed over welds.The truck rolls and steers, but does not have a brake system. The body of the truck is overall quite decent. Themajor rust areas are the pass side floor pan and running board. The cab corners are actually pretty good.The driver's side between the door and hood is dented. Also a dent on drivers side fender near theheadlight. The original gauges are present inside, and the seat is upholstered and usable. Thegrey vinyl will need some cleaning, but will look great, and the burgundy fabric is inexcellent condition. This truck already has the perfect stance. Mounting a V-8 will be no trick with theCamaro frame section. We have ordered the rubber to install the back side windows, and we will go ahead andinstall them when the rubber gets here. It is very rare that the original serial tag matches the title on these trucks,but this one does. Most of the time the motor is required to match the vin up to, making this truck the perfect truck tobuild in States with strict titling procedures. You will need a bed floor, and we have a good tailgate to go with the truck.The front bulkhead in the bed is also missing. The windshield and passenger's door glass is in excellent condition,the driver's glass and back glass is cracked. The paint is just a prep coat, some bodywork will need to be finishedbefore painting if you choose to paint the truck. Overall, this is an excellent project truck, very solid, very straight,and with a clean Texas Title.
