Thanks for checking out this one. There are no mystery here as to what is behind the paint,this clean original paint chevy shows easily whats behind the paint is the original metal. This was to be the next DVW shop truck but its going to have to be sold to help finance DVW Arizona location.

Parts of restoration/resurrection completed:polyeurathane control arm bushings,
shocks,
2 1/2" dual exhaust with cats,
Heads rebuilt,
short block has been rebuilt,
carb was rebuilt,
water pump,
4 core HD radiator,
hoses
belts,
plugs wires cap rotor,
battery & cables,
starter.
Body/cab mounts,
New pads and rotors, drums and shoes.There are no receipts for the work, asit was all done privately.
Starts up with a pump or two depending on if its cool in the morning and after feathering the throttle for 10/15 seconds idles and runs great. It acceleratessmoothonceto temp andand shifts good. It has a very good ride that is tight and firm. Does not smoke or leak oil.
Needs:
Brake light is on/pedal is low dispite the new brake parts. the master cyclinder is bad.
trans linkage is out of lighnment and will not shift into park,
leaks trans fluid from the pan gasket,
missing rear bumper..
Turn signal/parking light bulbs burned out.
The interior is originalbut ispretty burned up.
no radio.
heat and a/cexterior side trim/moldings - these I just ordered a set from LMC truck. these will change it quite a bit. the missing trim makes it look pretty trashy!
The truckwas sought out by DVW becauseit isan original Arizona valley truck, has no real rust (just patina as they call it nowadays)
A blow out bent the metal over and it was fixed probably 30 years ago and then another blow out bent it again and cracked up the filler. se the photo of the paint side and the back of the panel.
Title is straight, notorized and ready sell.
