Up for sale is this totally original 1981 Chevrolet Corvette. This vehicle has 49,000 original miles and was super clean and well cared for. This vehicle was involved in a frontal collision and is being sold with a salvage certificate from NY. The vehicle will basically need Fiberglas work to the front shell and probably a new hood, a new bumper cover and reinforcement, both headlights and actuators, a new radiator and fan shroud. The support rails and chassis are straight and there is no major frame damage at all. All the damage was skeletal. The car runs and lot drives without any problems and there was no damage done to the motor or transmission. All the damage is cosmetic and this car can and should be fixed and put back on the road again. You will never find another one of these cars with mileage this low and is as original as this car. This car is basically a classic and they have been going up in value over the past few years. This vehicle was a TWO OWNER vehicle and the previous owner always had the vehicle garaged. Up until this point, the vehicle was never in any accidents and the paint was all original and in beautiful condition(see the pics below for what the car looked like prior to the accident).This Corvette is very clean and has a Cream exterior with Tan Cloth bucket (rare) interior. The car runs and drives but will need to be towed because the radiator is leaking and the fan blade is hitting the shroud. But it will drive onto a flat bed with no trouble at all.The exterior of the vehicle is clean besides the collision damage. The paint is nice and glossy. The paint shines like glass and you can see your reflection in it. The body is in great condition and there is no real blemishes to point out besides the damage to the front. The car shows extremely well and you would be hard pressed to find another in this shape. The paint and bodywork are in great shape and the vehicle shows very well for a car that is 36 years old.The interior of the vehicle is also super clean. The seats have no rips or any unusual wear and the cloth is very firm and supple. The dash and door panels are also very nice and clean. All the trimmings and other interior trims are in perfect condition. The interior is perfect condition in my opinion. This is probably one of the best Corvette's that you will find on eBay and will make a great project. They don't get much better than this. This vehicle is a dream that will make someone very happy.
